My work is rooted in dialogue between the self and others, between different agents and their environment. With a focus on the functionality of each garment in relation to the action, I explore the boundaries between action, costume, and scenography.

I’m committed to working with deadstock fabrics, zero-waste patterns, and an approach that’s thoughtful about both materials and context.

Thank you for being here.

Hello, I’m Kathy Udaondo — costume designer and maker, recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Costume Design for the Performing Arts in UAL.

I’ve created this space to share the projects I’m developing, with two goals in mind: to open them up as tools for dialogue, and to gather them together as part of an ongoing process of creation, connection, and reflection.
